    Watertown Football should be ashamed

First of all why is Watertown playing Trinity Catholic? Second, why are they scoring 52 points against them. I was told Trinty Catholic had 5 extra players on the sideline.

The same reason Boston College played Weber State and Kent State.  Tune up games.  Trinity Catholic didn't have to OK the game.

Tune up game, ya it looks like they tuned up on TC, give me a break. Tune up for what the Middlesex league. Why don't they find a worthy opponent like all the other teams in the Middlesex league do. No wonder they can't compete in the Middlesex leauge.

So let me get this straight. Watertown tunes up on TC and Greater Lowell, both teams in div. 4 without any wins between them. Then they play Randolf from div.3 who has only one win from Latin Acadamy, another winless team and they can only beat them by 4 points. Great schedule!

Let me see 5 games into the season and they are tuning up. It will come back to bite them.

OK, I will give credit where credit is due. They did play a good game in beating Melrose but let's not forget, Melrose is not the Melrose of the past. They haven't won a game since week 3 and their record is 2-7 A good test will come next week when Watertown travels to Wakefield. Although Wakefield is only 4-4 this year.

Give credit to the kids and the new coach.  They are 7-2 and playing an appropriate schedule.  As much as it hurts to say, Watertown does not belong in the Middlesex League any more.  Take away a couple of hoops championships and the number of league championships boys' teams  has won since the mid-eighties is zero.

Bubbles, I really don't think you can consider Watertown's Football schedule as being appropriate. Triny Catholic, Worchester South, Randolph, Greater Lowell. Honestly you can't consider that an appropreiate schedule. The only team they have played with a winning record was Burlington. Remember that score?
