For almost 12 hours, you can wander around the Museum of Fine Arts at Free Community Day at the MFA. “The Secrets of Tomb 10A: Egypt 2000 BC,’’ “Patterns of Long Ago: Reflections of China in Japanese No Costume,’’ and “Luxuries From Japan: Cultural Exchange in the 17th and 18th Centuries’’ are a few of the exhibits to peruse. Guided tours, the Family Art Cart (11 a.m.-4 p.m.), talks, and drawing in the Galleries (6-9 p.m.) are some of the treats to sample. 10 a.m.-9:45 p.m. Free. Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. 617-267-9300. www.mfa.org
