FREE FAMILY ARTS FESTIVAL Cellphones will be very lonely while more than 185 kids, ages 8-15, from Creative Arts at Park participate in this daylong event. The youngsters will show off their dancing, music, gymnastics, film, art, video, writing, karate, fencing, and theater skills. The “Tom Sawyer’’ musical is 9:30 a.m. “Dirk Medicine, MD in Hospital Fever’’ plays at 12:15 p.m., and “WCRT’’ is 7:30 p.m. July 30 at 9 a.m. Free. WOODS HOLE FILM FESTIVAL KIDS DAY There’s free ice cream to accompany Sunday’s animated shorts, songs, and games. Sergeant Daniel M. Clark (known as “The Singing Trooper’’) will host. RED SOX WIVES CAN & CASH DRIVE $10 or 10 nonperishable food items will get you an autographed photo of a Red Sox player, and it’s a double play because the money (or food) goes to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Two hours prior to each game and through the first inning, Red Sox wives will hand out photos. July 30, 5-7:30 p.m., July 31, 2-4:30 p.m. $10 donation or 10 food items.
