How safe is your car seat?

If you're an expectant parent, have you practiced buckling a teddy bear into a car seat? Maybe you're still trying to figure out how to install the &%$# carseat, or perhaps you're still at the procrastination stage, trying to figure out which carseat to buy.

What you need to know is this: The National Highway Traffic Safety Association says that 80 percent of parents install their baby's seat incorrectly. Phew! That's a lot of us.

Here's the good news. Carseattips.com offers tips on correct installation of infant, baby, toddler and booster seats, as well as locations of Boston & Springfield area sites that offer car seat safety inspections.
