Is there a way to search through your old mailbag Q&A articles? I read one a while back giving advice about traveling for business & how to explain it to young children. I'm headed on a trip for work soon (the first one since my daughter was a year old, she's now 5 and would like to refresh my memory on your suggestions. Thanks!

Dear Momof2,

It's so validating when readers remember a topic from the past....thank you!

Here are two articles I've written about traveling parents. In this entry, I shared the story of the book I made my son when I had to travel. Here's a full column I wrote on the subject.

I tried to do this the right way, wanted to make sure it was a solid relationship. Told my son that I would only introduce him to someone that I felt was important and would be around long-term, when first discussing dating etc..."
