HONK-Graphic-Plain.jpgBased on the Hans Christen Anderson story, "The Ugly Duckling" and presented by Boston Children's Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts, "HONK!" is a musical for the whole family. The play tells the story of a young bird named Ugly whose unusual and awkward appearance triggers prejudice and ridicule among his family and friends. Join Ugly on his journey as he meets some very interesting characters and discovers not only his true inner beauty and destiny but also finds love and acceptance along the way. Performed by some of the area's most talented young actors, HONK! has earned a spot in the list of today's most popular musicals for families. Sat. & Sun., Feb. 9 & 10, 2 p.m.; Sat. & Sun., Feb. 16 & 17, 2 p.m.; Wed., Feb. 20 - Sun., Feb. 24, 2 p.m. $20 - $30. Performed at the Roberts Studio Theatre at the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street, Boston.
