Boston Children's Museum has partnered with Target to present "Target $1 Friday Nights," every Friday evening from 5-9pm, when families can enjoy the entire museum for $1. Each year, more than 50,000 participants attend the cultural, interactive, and family-oriented programs offered during these special discounted evenings. For less than a cup of coffee, you can enjoy exhibits such as the New Balance Climb, a 3-story climbing sculpture made of brightly painted curved platforms, rising like a fleet of magic carpets up the glass lobby, or Peep's World, a hands-on, interactive science exhibit. With these and hundreds of other things to do at the museum, it might be the best dollar you ever spent. Fridays, beginning March 1, 5-9 p.m. All ages. $1. Boston Children's Museum, 300 Congress St., Boston. www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org
