"13th Annual Kite Day," Framingham, April 28

Join the Autism Alliance as they celebrate autism awareness at Bose Mountain in Framingham. The 13th Annual Kite Day is a fun-filled day with kites, pinwheels, train rides, balloons, face painting, raffles, music, giveaways, magic and more. There will be a special appearance by KONE (Kites Over New England), a group of professional kite flyers who will help decorate the sky with their large fancy kites. The Framingham Fire and Police Department will be on hand printing fingerprints and letting children explore their fire trucks, cruisers, motorcycles and ambulances. If you have your own kite, please bring it along! Pizza, ice cream and snacks will be available for purchase. Sun., April 28, noon - 4 p.m. Rain date is Sun., May 8. All ages. $5 per car will be collected on the hill. Bose Mountain, The Mountain Rd., Framingham. www.autismalliance.org
