"My First Movies" is premiering this month in Dedham and Providence only and Moms is sending 25 readers and their little ones to a showing on Tuesday, April 16.

ENTER HERE on our Moms Facebook page by midnight on Thursday, April 11 (details in the link).

This is an interactive children's film series hosted by Mitten the Kitten, who will help families sing, dance, and play along to the movie. This show is specifically designed for kids ages 1 to 4. Producers are calling this a "movie play date" for parents and kids.

This movie experience is coming to Boston and Providence courtesy of BabyFirst, a baby-focused TV channel and new media company, as well as Hollywood movie studio Phoenix Partners.

"We wanted to turn the passive nature of movie watching upside down and deliver an interactive experience just like having a playdate with friends," said Sharon Rechter, a founder of BabyFirst. "This hybrid between a movie and a stage show will allow parents to play along with their children while they are being educated. It was always our dream to deliver a fun and safe movie going experience free of any scary storyline concerns." is giving away 25 pairs of tickets to our readers for the 10:00 a.m. show on Tuesday, April 16. Winners will be able to choose between the Dedham location (Showcase Cinema De Lux at Legacy Place, Dedham) and Providence location (Showcase Cinemas Warwick, 1200 Quaker Lane East, East Greenwich, R.I.).

Enter the giveaway through Thursday, April 11, at midnight. Winners will be notified soon after and can pick up their tickets Tuesday at the show.

The complete show schedule is April 13-14, 20-21, 23 and 27-28 and tickets cost $7.50.

Good luck!
