Get out your tissues.
It's another homecoming surprise story. But these never get old, do they?
Check out this video of an army dad surprising his kids on Raley Field in Sacramento after returning from a year-long deployment to Afghanistan.
The kids were "plucked" from the crowd to throw the first ceremonial pitch. Little did they know they were part of a ruse so their father could surprise them with a special homecoming. He was deployed to Afghanistan a year ago.
Sergeant First Class Jim Hereth, posing as a catcher, caught the pitch of his 10-year-old son Devin and then raised his mask. His 13-year-old daughter Summer recognized him right away and began running toward him. Her brother quickly followed.
Their faces? Priceless.
