Bubble Blowout-1.jpgSure, we've all spent many a lazy summer afternoon blowing bubbles with our kids -- but probably not like this! During this event, the Children's Garden at the Providence Children's Museum will be overflowing with billions of billowing bubbles! Participants can use a variety of unusual tools to create their own bubble wands, then experiment with different techniques to blow giant bubbles, stretch them into amazing shapes, and explore their unique properties. Pucker up! Sat., July 27 & Sun., July 28, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Free, with museum admission ($9 per person, members free). The Providence Children's Museum, 100 South Street, Providence, RI. www.childrenmuseum.org
