Enter your volunteering child in the ABC Summer of Service Awards

If your child is passionate about improving your community through volunteerism and service, he or she has the chance to be rewarded for it.


ABC, Channel 5, and Youth Service America are teaming up to award five kids $1,000 each in the ABC Summer of Service Awards. The award money is intended to help the children continue their good work.

The deadline to apply is midnight on Sept. 15. And children under age 13 must have a parent or guardian prepare and submit the application.

So whatever your child is doing, whether it's coordinating park clean-ups, raising funds for a shelter, or working at a food pantry, you can tell your child's story for a chance to win.
