Are you a mom who is willing to bare it all in the name of honest beauty?

A Chicago photographer and mom of three hopes so. Ashlee Wells Jackson has launched a project called "4th Trimester Bodies Project."

Jackson writes on her website that she's seeking women "willing to {tastefully} bare it all in the name of honest beauty." That is, she will travel around the United States to photograph mothers willing to strip down to their underwear to reveal their bodies after giving birth and during breastfeeding.

Why is she doing it?

"I see beautiful, inspiring, real women on a daily basis who struggle with their body image because they don’t feel they measure up with who the media tells them to be. I feel like this is even more poignant in mothers who often feel like their bodies have been ruined when they should instead be respected for creating, sustaining and nourishing life," she told the Huffington Post.

Check out some of the photos on her website. The finished result will be a community website, gallery show, and book.

Jackson asks that women interested in being photographed email her. The shoot is complimentary. She's also collecting money for the project through FundRazr.

What do you think of the project?
