The hit off-Broadway show "Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience -- A Parody" is coming to the Paramount Center in Boston for a limited, three-week engagement. Written by former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, "Potted Potter" takes on the challenge of condensing, or "potting" all seven Harry Potter books into 70 minutes, aided by multiple costume changes, songs, props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage with a real life game of Quidditch, according to Clarkson and Turner’s unique set of rules. The show is for those who camped outside a bookstore for three days awaiting the release of the Deathly Hallows as well as those who don’t know the difference between a Horcrux and a Hufflepuff. The fast-paced show, which has entertained audiences aged six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed), is geared for the entire family. Tues., Sept. 17 - Sun., Oct. 6. Dates and times vary. Ages six and up. Tickets start at $39.99, and additional ticketing fees may apply. Paramount Center, Emerson College, 559 Washington St., Boston. www.paramountboston.org
