Ever wonder if an owl really is as smart as they say? Or why we don't hear owls when they fly? Do you know just how far an owl can see? If you're fascinated by the secret life of owls, pack up the family and head to the Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick for a hike under the moon. You will learn about owl calls, behavior, and habitat and also search for the flying visitors who frequent the sanctuary at night -- the screech owl and great horned owl. This program includes walking over uneven terrain in limited light. Pre-registration required. Sat., Nov. 16, 6:30 - 8 p.m. Ages 6 and up. Members: Adult, $11, child, $6. Non-members: Adult, $13, child, $8. Pre-registration required. Register online, or print a form to be mailed. Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, 280 Eliot St., Natick.
