Organic baby food company Plum Organics is voluntarily recalling its pouch products within its Baby Stage 2, Tots Mish Mash, and Kids lines.

Here is part of the message written on the company's website by Neil Grimmer, co-founder and president of the company.

We are taking this action because we recently determined that potential spoilage associated with a manufacturing defect may cause some pouches to swell. Parents should not feed any of these products to their children.

According to experts on this WPIX video, babies who eat the spoiled product could be subject to nausea, upset stomach, and diarrhea.

The recall products have "best by" dates of Aug. 5 to Dec. 8, 2014.

If you have the product, dispose of it. And contact the company to get a voucher for another product. Here is how you can get your voucher.

Call the company's hotline at (866) 495-3774
or email the company at with the subject line "replacement voucher."
