Doyin Richards is a baby-wearing married father of two from Los Angeles who is one of the most buzzed about parents on the Internet this week after a photo of himself getting his daughter ready for school went viral.

He documents his adventures with his 2-year-old and 6-month-old daughters on his blog "Daddy Doin' Work."

He shared the following photo on his blog and with The Good Men Project, along with a blog post titled "I Have a Dream: That People Will View a Picture Like This and Not Think It's a Big Deal"

The photo has gone viral.

Richards explains in the post that he set up a camera to prove to his working wife that he was capable of calming the baby and doing his daughter's hair at the same time. He and his wife had a laugh about it.

And then public opinion started pouring in.

"The reactions, comments, and emails I received ranged from the overwhelmingly positive to the downright nasty," writes Richards.

There were comments like this one from Jaime:

I think it’s a sad day when people post nasty comments over such a sweet parenting moment!

Richards highlights some of the the negative comments, like "He probably rented those kids. They don’t even look like him” in his post. Richards' wife is half-white and half-Japanese.

His response to male critics? Come join "#TeamGrownAssMan"

What do you think of Richards's dream that a photo like this will one day not be a big deal?

Today he's on Katie Couric's show "Katie," talking about it. Here's his tweet from the Green Room:

Wondering what else Richards is doing these days? He's on a mission to have changing tables installed in public restrooms for men.
