'Family Night' Wednesdays at Community Ice Skating @ Kendall Square

Community Skating @ Kendall Square

We might be in the midst of a January thaw, but the cold season's hardly over -- which means more time for winter fun, including ice skating. And with a new promotion in Kendall Square, it's time to lace up your skates! Community Ice Skating @ Kendall Square is offering special deals on two nights each week for the rest of the winter. Every Wednesday is "Family Night," when with every paid adult admission ($5), up to three kids can enjoy free admission. Every hursday night is "Student Night," when admission is buy one, get one free for students with valid IDs. Rentals of both figure and hockey skates are available. The parking garage next to the rink will validate tickets for those who skate, making this a great opportunity for families to get out and get moving. Family Night, Wed., 4-8 p.m. When Boston and Cambridge schools are on vacation, the special deal will be valid from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Student Night, Thurs., 4-8 p.m. Regular admission, $5. Kendall Square Community Ice Rink, 300 Athenaeum St., Cambridge.
