Win a quintessential holiday experience for 4 from Plimoth Plantation!
The 1627 Harvest Dinner with the Pilgrims, offered on select dates in November 2009, is an evening of entertainment and hospitality with the residents of Plimoth Plantation. Enjoy an authentic 17th century harvest meal to learn what the original first harvest feast might have been like. Entertainment includes a lesson in period table manners as well as psalms and songs. In addition, this prize includes museum admission, the day of the dinner.

All entries must be completed by Friday, October 30, 2009 at 5:00pm (EST) and the contest winner(s) will be announced on Monday, November 2, 2009.*

Plimoth Plantation
Plimoth Plantation is the world-renowned living history museum of 17th century -- a place you can't miss for its hands on environment, authenticity, and engaging and powerful personal encounters. Visit role-playing interpreters on Mayflower II and in the 1627 English Village or meet contemporary Native people in the Wampanoag Homesite. See rare breed animals, and in the Craft Center watch as skilled artisans recreate 17th century Native and Colonial items used in the exhibits and sold in the Museum Shops. At the Patuxet Café sample the menu inspired by Native and Colonial recipes.

*This contest is open to any person and three guests who are able to come to Plimoth Plantation to attend one of the scheduled “1627 Harvest Dinners with the Pilgrims” events during the month of November 2009 which has available seating.

CONTEST TIMELINE:
The contest ends on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 5:00pm (EST). The contest winner(s) will be notified via e-mail or phone by Monday, November 2, 2009 at 5:00pm (EST). The contest winner(s) must reply by Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 12:00pm (EST) or alternate contest winner(s) will be selected.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES:
One (1) winner will receive: admission for four (4) people to attend a scheduled "1627 Harvest Dinner with the Pilgrims" at Plimoth Plantation. This prize is valid for a scheduled November event with available seating. The prize will be awarded in the form of a coded gift certificate provided by Plimoth Plantation as soon as Boston.com advises the museum representatives of the winner. (Approximate retail value of $243.80)

SELECTION OF WINNER:
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The contest winner(s) will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received and the decision is final. A list of the contest winners may be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope postmarked no later than two business days after contest ends to: Colleen Fahlbush, Boston.com, 135 Morrissey Boulevard, Boston, MA 02125.

ELIGIBILITY:
Entrants must be eighteen years of age or older. One entry per person, email address, or phone number. Use of an automated method of submission will result in disqualification. Employees of The New York Times Company, New England Media Group, participating partners, or their affiliates or the immediate families of each (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, or spouse or "step" of each) or those living in the same household as each are ineligible.
