"The Help" star Viola Davis and her husband, actor Julian Tennon, have adopted a baby named Genesis.
Davis confirmed the adoption at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event in Los Angeles Oct. 17.
This is the first child for the couple. Tennon has two children from previous relationships.
