Cheapest reason to make it a three-day weekend (as if you needed one): Giving us more of a reason to play hooky are the Free Fun Fridays underwritten by the Highland Street Foundation in Framingham to mark its 20th anniversary. One area attraction is free each Friday until Sept. 4: tomorrow’s Friday freebie is the Franklin Park Zoo.
