Fourth of July activities for families

Boston Harborfest Children's Day Boston Harborfest is a 6-day festival with more than 200 activities. Friday June 28 is Children's Day, which will feature fun and games for kids of all ages for free. Kids will enjoy face painting, juggling, original music by Wayne Potash and the Music Fun Band, dance performances, balloon fun, and more. If you can't make it Friday, check out the Party on the Plaza Saturday or the Chowderfest on Sunday. Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free. Plaza at City Hall, Boston. www.bostonharborfest.com
