MIT Museum

Geek out

Holograms, robots, and mechanics, oh my! The MIT Museum is "the place where science, technology, and innovation meet," according to its website — in other words, it's the perfect place to take your inquisitive, technology-obsessed kids. Bonus: Admission is free from 10 a.m. to noon on Sundays.

10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. $7.50, $3 for seniors, students, and ages 6-18. MIT Museum, 265 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge. 617-253-4422. web.mit.edu/museum
