Tips for interfaith families in December

Encourage understanding. Your Christian kids can still celebrate Hanukkah with your Jewish spouse (and vice versa). Its OK for kids to participate in a holiday of another religion as a way to respect your Jewish (or non-Jewish) spouse and family. Just make sure to explain it them. Try, Were going to light the menorah for Hanukkah because that is Daddys holiday. Well help him celebrate, just like he helps us celebrate Christmas.
