What you'll find there: If you're a history buff, Castle Island might pique your interest, says Wendy Fox, a spokeswoman for the state's Department of Conservation and Recreation. The 22-acre urban park provides tours of Independence Fort and its castle. It also has a prime fishing spot, Fox adds, and like this Boston.com reader noted, an excellent view of the Boston Harbor.
