South side of Blanchard Road, Burlington
Why you like it- "How about a public park and playground that is coming back from years of purposeful neglect? What you'll find there: Plenty of quiet, open space. There aren't any swing sets or baseball fields, but Mary Cummings Park (pictured) offers acres of trails and fields, ideal for kite-flying, a summer stroll or a Yogi Bear-style picnic. "It's like being able to go out in the woods without having to go out of town," says Steven Keleti, president of Friends of Mary Cummings Park.
