September contest theme: My neighborhood
It's official ... 543 of you have spoken, and "My neighborhood" is the theme for September, receiving 27% of the votes cast. "Get close" uh, got close, coming in second at 26%, followed by Wildlife with 21% of the vote, Silhouettes 15%, and Motion, 13%.
We'll save the other themes for future months, and set up another poll for October soon.
So what does "My neighborhood" mean? Well, you chose it -- you tell us. Leave a comment outlining what you think the possibilities are for good neighborhoods photos.
And if you already have one in your portfolio, enter it in the contest now. Here's how.

Is there a specific Flickr page or group for the Raw Blog contest(s)?
ok, I admit I'm not the brightest, but I've been trying all week to find the link to see this month's entries, I've clicked every thing clickable, yet no neighborhood photos. I had seen a few of them last week, but can't get there this week. Below this box I'm writing in is a long blank column where I would expect to see photos, but there is nothing, no Flickr is loading icon, just white space. Help
Hi, Gerry -- You can see this month's entries here:
http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=boston.com+contest+september&m=tags
Where it says, if you already have one in your portfolio, enter the contest now. Here's how... The link isn't working. Any other link you enter from?
Hi Stephanie, I'm not at my computer so I can't fix that link right now or send you the correct one, but if you go to www.boston.com/raw, look at the navigation links right under the word RAW, and click on "Submit your work," the correct link should be there.
Let me know if that works for you.
This blogger might want to review your comment before posting it.

NOVEMBER'S THEME SilhouettesConvey emotion, set a mood, or create an air of mystery ... silhouettes can convey a lot in a handful of pixels. It's a challenging theme; position your subject in front of a light source, and expose for the light. One rule: Your photo must be taken this month.
Deadline: Midnight November 30
