Under the bridge downtown

Under the bridge downtown
Waterfire at Waterplace Bridge in Providence, Rhode Island. "The sky was clear (you can almost see a few stars), the light was warm (from the sparkling bonfires), there was a light breeze, and the flags were fluttering just right for this landscape," the photographer writes. "The flags were what originally caught my eyes, bringing a sense of peace and tranquility, and 'bridging' the differences between different countries. There was love and romance in the air. The green and red line (and the reflection on the water) is the light of a passing gondola (I used long exposure to remove the gondola and keep only the lights). I am lucky that I can call this my neighborhood."
