Meanwhile, don't forget to

i love this shot. . .It's unique, creative, and yet. . . natural.
Did you catch that ball with your foot?
I love this section; thank you!
It would be even more helpful to us amateur photographers to see the EXIF info for posted pictures.
Hi, George ... thanks for the kind words. I do supply EXIF data whenever the photographer supplies it to us, or if I pull photos off their Flickr account, as I'm doing with our next Photographer of the Week. You're right: Seeing that EXIF data is really interesting and helpful. I'll try to do a better job of encouraging everybody to include it.
Congrats Chris. Your field hockey photo looks great in print in the Boston Globe (Wed Nov 12, 2008)
@kseiffer, many thanks, it was a HUGE thrill to see it in print that morning!
Lots of nice adds to the gallery, and Jonathan, nice shot of Pap!

NOVEMBER'S THEME SilhouettesConvey emotion, set a mood, or create an air of mystery ... silhouettes can convey a lot in a handful of pixels. It's a challenging theme; position your subject in front of a light source, and expose for the light. One rule: Your photo must be taken this month.
Deadline: Midnight November 30
