M-C Lamarre's muse is a ballpark - Fenway Park, to be specific...
The Red Sox fan hires herself out to paint replicas of Fenway in unexpected places, from walls in local businesses to hallways in private homes.
Lamarre, from New Bedford, has a goal of painting at least one mural of the Green Monster in every US state (not surprisingly, she's already covered New England).
Tonight (Friday, Jan. 9), the Holyoke Gallery at Harvard University in Cambridge opens "A Pictorial of Fenway Park," a show featuring photographs of Lamarre's works.
After you check it out, you may be inspired to hire her to paint your own place. Wouldn't it be cool to have a big green monster in your bathroom?
There's a reception from 5 to 7 tonight. The show is on display through Feb. 4.
