Meet the August contest judge
Our judge for the August "Architecture" contest is Bruno Debas, a professional photographer who divides his time between his commercial photography and teaching.
Born and raised in Paris, Bruno started his professional career under the tutelage of top French and European photographers, traveling all over the world as an assistant.
As a commercial photographer, he has worked for many national and international clients such as AT&T, Genzyme, Lancome, Lucent Technologies, Converse, New Haven Hospital, Zoll Medical Corporation, and French automotive companies Peugeot and Citroen.
In 1985, Bruno opened his own studio in Boston. He is constantly exploring various disciplines of photography and broadening the scope of his work both artistically and commercially. He has more than 20 years of experience as a photography instructor at The New England School of Photography; he also is the founder of PhotoInstitute.net, and serves as an instructor as well as the director of programs.
You can see more of his work at his website.
Bruno is reviewing the 153 entries in the August contest, narrowing the field to the Final 50. We'll post his choices tomorrow in a full-screen gallery, and then activate the Voting Machine.
