And the winner is ...

Deirdre Wingell, who guessed that this image portrays the inside of a Murano glass-type paperweight.

"While it is not specifically a Murano glass paperweight, it is the inside of a glass paperweight," zen granny writes. "It is the same type of glass paperweight as a Murano, although a very cheap version!"

The photographer used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with an exposure of 1/250 sec. at f/2.8, ISO 400, and a focal length of 100mm.
