Information from Sony press release

At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Sony unveiled several new point-and-shoot Cyber-shot digital still cameras starting at about $110.

The new models in Sony's W-series are the W510, W530, W560, and W570. They feature Sweep Panorama mode, SteadyShot image stabilization to reduce blur, iAuto mode to automatically optimize camera settings, face detection, and Smile Shutter technology. Prices range from about $110 to about $180.

The addition to Sony's all-touch-screen T-series cameras is the T110. The entry-level 16.1-megapixel T110 has a CCD sensor, a 3-inch LCD with touch screen, Sweep Panorama mode, and 720p HD movie capture. It will be available at about $230.

Sony also introduced the 10x optical zoom H70, which has a 16.1-megapixel CCD sensor, the Sweep Panorama feature, 720p HD movie recording, Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, and a 25mm wide lens. The H70 will cost about $230.

Sweep Panorama mode, first introduced in the HX1, TX1, and WX1 CMOS models, utilizes a CCD sensor to capture panoramic scenes. Starting with the DSC-W510 at just about $109, and continuing up throughout the W and T-series cameras, these models shoot images continuously to capture wide landscapes or tall buildings in one "press and sweep" motion. Images are automatically stitched together to create a panoramic photo.
