October contest theme: 'Yellow'

The color yellow, in US culture, is the color of optimism, energy, warmth, happiness, creativity. The sun is yellow, are as school buses, taxis, lemons, and most pencils. (it's also the color of cowardice!)

Artists say that yellow emerges from colors surrounding it, so use that to your advantage.

October is our traditional color month, so as I announced last month, this year's color is yellow. I also announced that your photo must be taken this month, but since the month started over the weekend, and it ends on the craziness of Halloween weekend, I'll give everybody until midnight Sunday, Nov. 6 to get your photos in.
