I promised an interesting photo challenge, and here it is: Then and Now.

Catalonia Square

I love seeing photos where the photographer holds an old photo of a street or house or other scene in front of that same scene in the present day. The contrast of the old black-and-white photo (and they usually are black-and-white) showing people in period dress or the former businesses in a building, with the present-day scene is always interesting. And there's an art to how to position the old photo as you hold it in front of the camera to get the most dramatic effect.
