Limerick Challenge: Winter of 2010/2011
Let out your feelings about some aspect of this latest storm or the winter in general with a well-known folk form of poetry: a limerick. You know the classic limerick (the clean version):
There once was a man from Nantucket
Who kept all his cash in a bucket.
But his daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man,
And as for the bucket, Nantucket.
You've been very creative with haikus, but this time you have to rhyme. A limerick is 5 lines with the rhyming scheme of AABBA - lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme, and lines 3 and 4 have a different rhyme. Show your stuff!
