One step at a time
Jonathan Zagami returned from Iraq with traumatic brain injury and stress disorder. While he was gone, his younger sister Jaime wrote to him every day and sent goodies every week. When he returned, they enrolled in college together; when he struggled, they moved into adjoining dorms and took the same classes. They ate meals and went to the gym together, and finally graduated together. If Jonathan has a guardian angel, it's Jaime.
Army veteran Jonathan Zagami and his sister, Jaime, run in South Boston.
