1,000,000 times; Revis.

There is no Babe exception. BB got help with personnel, so good for him. He finally realized he wasn't getting the job done with what he had, brought in Lombardi, and we win the SB. Nice.

Revis is the answer; or some other shutdown corner of similar worth. THAT is the difference between this defense being mickey mouse, or pretty good. Without someone like Revis, we go back to losing more »

No way in hell McCourty is worth 9 mil a year. If he is one of the top safetys in the league, the state of safetys in the league ain't what it used to be.

Revis is the key guy, the rest are..... whatever. You keep Revis and you have a decent defense, you don't and you're looking at the prospect of going back to the mickey mouse days.

Revis has the ring. It's about the last big payday now.

No surprise that BB isn't mentioned. The Pats structure in the GM department is hard to define. Sure, BB is the final word, but you also have Lombardi and Cassario who play significant, if unspecified more »

A 3rd rounder is appropriate, and should have been the spygate penalty as well.

There is only so much you can do considering the restrictions. But maybe they won't waste a 2nd round pick on a QB this time around and will trade up to get an impact player in the draft.
