Many racers prohibit strollers, mostly because they become a hazard for other runners in a crowded race. I think strollers were probably already prohibited.

I ran NY last year. It was about the same as these rules, but their rules had been in place for several years. So BAA is really just catching up.

As a runner, I support all these ideas. Racers should be only for registered runners who have paid the entry fee, and met the requirements for entry. "Bandit" runners are just that - they are stealing more »
