Still cannot believe they lost this - they seemed in control. I think Brady was hurt on that Tuck sack, and just sucked it up and played. He definitely was not the same QB after that. Toughest thing w more »

No brainer... Has AH ever played alongside a Wilfork-caliber guy?  VW will be at NT and so AH does not need to worry about playing there, as they tried to force it on him in WASH. Will teams be double more »

I agree 100%, and we have been watching this get worse every year.  Sure we have had 2 good drafts, but what happened in the 3-4 drafts before those?  So now we have the old/er guys (G Warren, Light, more »

I say a 3-4 DE is # 1 priority.  Cannot see them keeping #17 though unless Cameron Jordan is still there (or other higher rated DL's like Dareus, Bowers, Fairley, of course but they won't be...).  May more »

NE 34-17, but game won't even be that close.   I think the Pats own the first half but not with a large lead, maybe 17-7.  3rd quarter will be huge as Brady adjusts and NE goes up 31-10.  4th quarter more »

Awesome post! I think Belichik is scared.  He knows last time Ryan and company talked like this, what happened....oh wait, that was before the Dec blowout game and we won, um, 45-3.   He is bored... B more »

Good point.  Maybe 2 is a stretch - but who's taking the other QB(s), and where?  The teams I have needing QBs:  AZ, MIN, CAR, SEA, SF.  And this is a bad QB class - I can't see teams taking QBs high more »

Good point, '49Patriots'...but I think the key, even more than stopping the run will be to take away Sanchez' weapons:  Keller and Edwards deep.  That's BB's MO - take away what they like to do. They more »

First go...includes #33 (NE from Carolina). Cannot see Patriots keeping any of these picks - could see them trading down at each of these top 3 spots.   Could see Pouncey, Quinn, Brandon Harris gong h more »

I'm a big NFL draft guy, too. No way BB takes Kerrigan at #17.  For all you RK fans, don't hate me.  Like him, too - his effort and size are great.  Good pick at 32/33 or later. And I think he'll be g more »

Meriweather did not play (just a few snaps, and special teams) in the Game 1 loss.  He was great in the Game 2 win, with excellent discipline and passing lane awareness.  And shutting down Keller. I t more »

Either way - no matter who BB is spending time preparing for -it's all the same, since there is 2 weeks before the game. It's not like he spent a week prepping for INDY and - uh oh -NYJ won so, on no, more »

pioneer15 - what are you talking about? You really think the Jets have a better D just because they beat the Colts? You know, the Titans defense had the same performance as your Jets vs the Colts...ch more »

BTW, Mike Wright did not play vs the Jets in December, and Ron Brace only played a few downs. And Jets ran for 152 yards, and had 7 more plays than NE, and had the ball only 2+ minutes less than NE, a more »

This will be great if the Jets use a ball-control, run-first game plan. Problem is, they can't if (when) the Patriots are up by 2 TDs and a FG. They have to stop Brady first. Indy is not that good - t more »

Don't get me wrong - Moss is a HOF, no doubt.  And he is still good.  But I think having him there as an option, at his age, doesn't help Brady.  He still gets double-teams and they take him out of th more »

Good points NEMike - but you are saying that the Pats' #3/4 (Aiken, Watson) receiver option is as good as GB's #3/4 (Finley, Jones) or AZ's #3/4 (Breaston, Hightower)? You're crazy...Were you watching more »
