I have no predictions, but teams I would like to see win it all include KC, Oakland, Pittsburgh, and Washington. The one team I am really pulling against is the Orioles. Thank goodness the Yankees are more »

As far as catching goes for 2015, my vote is for Ross to be re-signed as a back up / mentor to Vazquez. I've heard good things about Swihart, but right now I am really liking Vazquez' defense. As an a more »

While I love watching the kids play, having too many youngsters on the roster is far too risky.  Betts and Cecchini have impressed us in small samples, but so did Middlebrooks, Bogaerts, and Bradley.  more »

You almost always have to overpay to get your players via free agency.  The key is to not grossly overpay (see NY Yankees).  IMO, the FO's philosophy of paying more in dollars for fewer years is a goo more »

Jeter doesn't owe the fans anything, and I understand him not wanting to play Friday night, but IMO he should have at least acknowledged the fans who were chanting his name and hoping to see him.  How more »

Nava is very Pedroia-esque when it comes to attitude.  Tell him that he can't do something or that he's not good enough, and it only makes him that much more determined.
