I would be the first to admit that feeding a raw diet is not for everyone.  It does become "routine" once you get used to it.  I went through several different stages at first I was literally making c more »

Cooked meat will not work for a cat seems the act of cooking it kills most of the nutrients a cat gets from it in it's raw state.  As for parasites a cat's digestive system is built to kill them.  The more »

Cat's are actually obligate carnivores and they are not equipped to digest the carbs that are in cat food.  This is especially true if you are feeding dry cat food to them.  I had a very similar probl more »

Liz-  Oh trust me it was a RIOT for a little while when this started.  I'm home all day with him though and he is obsessive about it.  Just doesn't get bored and could flush it for hours.  But since h more »

I agree that one of the reasons you become a cat lover is you do love their antics.  If not how could they not drive you crazy?  I've never met a really "dumb" cat, lazy?  sure, self-absorbed?  absolu more »

Wag- wow what an amazing dog! My kitty doesn't use the toilet as a litter box, although it would be quite convenient if he did.  I've never had much luck getting a cat to do something I wanted it to. more »

Actually Kar's suggestion won't work for my panther.  He has no fear of noise, he would see that can as a new toy and then I would get the flushing and the sound of rattling coins at 3am. Unusual for more »

pinkkittie- unfortunately he is a Maine Coon so he can reach the handle without standing on the toilet itself.  The double sided tape is not a bad thought I might try that. Pingo- changing the flush m more »

My cat has taken to flushing the toilet as a recreational event.  Sounds funny I know but in addition to the extra water bills I'm worried he will break the toilet.  He likes both to watch the water s more »

What do you idiots think is going on here? A late term abortion is only viable if there are serious problems with the fetus. This is not a case of pregnant women suddenly deciding they just don't want more »
