Dungy might (might not) be bigoted. I don't know, never met him. But, the fact remains the guy lasted until the seventh round because nobody wanted him on their team due to the distraction factor or b more »

In response to prolate0spheroid's comment: Those were problems too.  With both Brady and Manning, disrupting the timing of the QB, the receivers, or both is critical.  Broncos did that, Pats didn't. S more »

Just curious, when was the last time the team with the best collection of wide receivers won a championship? Maybe the Rams in '99? Before that, the Jerry Rice Niners perhaps? That might be it. There more »

As I said, it's perfectly fine to disagree. There's no right answer. TFB apparently takes this stuff personally, especially when Wes Welker is involved. I don't. It's football, it's a diversion.  Yeah more »

In response to TFB12's comment: That's the whole problem with your comment.  They only really used 2 WR's in 2012 and those 2 Wr's did about as well as 4 WR's in 2013.  You would pretty much expect th more »

Amendola was brought in to play receiver after Welker left. They're similar players, not carbon copies. Edelman became the go-to receiver. Sometimes you change plans, you adjust, you go with what's wo more »

Forget Welker, compare Edelman at 4/17 and modest cap hits to Emmanuel Sanders with Denver at 3/15 with cap hits 4, 5 and 6. I'd much rather have JE.

Where are you getting 5/25 on Edelman?  It's 4/17 with cap hits of 2.75, 4.25, 4.75 and 5.25.
