Pats have kicked tires on both Martin and Lynch, discussed Tuck with Oakland (decent chance of getting a deal done), looked into a few offensive line upgrade deals. Not likely to trade for a receiv more »

They just suck! Un watchable.

Miss Mankins yet Tom?
maybe they should play the guy they traded their best O lineman for?
Belichick has lost it and Brady is now old.
time to think about changing things up Mr Kraft.

I have low confidence in Wendell so the "O" line is much weaker.
ESPN IS LAME!

No Dez! Dez is only about Dez.
I am for Mallet and 5th or 6th rounder for Johnson

Maybe this guy has grown up and under "The Patriot Way" he would be a good signing.
Posted 03/14/2014 09:02:40 EDT
Now trade up and get Sammy Watkins for Brady to throw to.

Defense win championships! This would likely give the Patriots the best 1-2 punch when it comes to cornerbacks in the league, (starting in week 5) :)

Time to tank fellas!

Both NFC teams left are beatable. Seattle isn't anywhere near the same team away from home and if the game next week were on a neutral field I would place the 49ers as favorites. I was far from i more »

So Drew almost knocked one out too, I though he had some good AB's in game 4. I predict he has the game winning RBI in game 6 whether it comes in the 1st or 9th innings or somewhere in between.
Posted 10/29/2013 10:25:43 EDT
I don't care if its 10-0, 20-1 or whatever in the 9th, I want Koji on the field for the final out as he deserves it. Wouldn't be in this position this year without him.

Stay with what has been working the last 2 games. Except now we get Napoli back in the line up. Only change would be be late innings with a lead move Nava to left and if he can go then Shane in rig more »

Kelly in a potential game 7 IN FENWAY I'd bet scares the Cards' coaching and front office.

I would assume he will DH for the Cards, why not just walk him and make him use his legs on the bases? Especially if there are 2 outs already, it may cause Matheny to pull him for a PR so his bat wo more »

Plus Drew actually had some better AB's last night, got an RBI on a deep pop up to left, and hit a fairly deep flyball to left center. That shows me that he has stopped trying to pull the ball so m more »

Go with same line up as last night, but I'd move Bogey to 2nd and Nava behind Papi then Gomes. Such a stronger lineup 1-6 that way. But Nava at 2 isn't so bad as it could make Matheny bring ini more »

Farrell needs to go with the same lineup tonight. Not sure what he does if Victorino can go though.
Posted 10/28/2013 12:04:03 EDT
Potential game 7 pitchers Peavy (2 innings), Doubrant ( 2 or 3 innings), Lester (an inning or 2) maybe Clay for an inning to go along with Tazawa and Koji? Leave Breslow on the bench.
Posted 10/28/2013 12:02:02 EDT
OK if your Farrell and Victorino can go tomorrow what do you do? Stay with tonight's line up or go with Shane instead of Gomes?

That out was like a homerun for Drew!

If there is a game 7, that would technically be Lester's BP session day too so he could also be used for an inning or two.
