Comment on: Knicks hand shorthanded Celtics fifth straight loss - Celtics - Boston.com
With their lack of depth up front, the Celtics clearly can't survive long without KG. This week's losses are disappointing, but entirely predictable considering they don't have KG. The good news is it more »

Comment on: Celtics pay back the Hawks with an overtime win - Celtics - Boston.com
Everyone has off nights shooting. Bradyley has had some excellent shooting nights lately, he is starting to score the same way he did in the second half of last season.

Comment on: Celtics beat Warriors, 94-86 - Celtics - Boston.com
I think the team's success has a lot more to do with the return of Avery Bradley than it does with anything to do with Rondo. This team has been on a roll since Avery got back, they have played well i more »

Comment on: Sources: Celtics acquire Jordan Crawford for Barbosa, Collins -Celtics blog - Boston Globe basketball news
I don't see the situation with the current team being anything like what happened at the end of the 80s. Danny has kept KG and Pierce, but he has also slowly been rebuilding the team with younger play more »

Comment on: Rajon Rondo for Dwight Howard trade report denied by Lakers GM -Celtics blog - Boston Globe basketball news
Please god no! The way Howard threw his coach and team under the bus last year was a disgrace, I would have alot of difficulty cheering for the Celtics if he is brought here. This trade also makes no more »

When i ride I stay to the right as much as possible and try to be coureous with other drivers. There are times when you do need to move out into the lane when making turns or avoiding potholes and oth more »

That's a pretty gross exaggeration. In most cases it is probably going to take you an extra 5-10 seconds to pass a bicycle safely. Small price to pay so that accidents like this don't happen. Everyone more »

Wow, what about the driver in this case? He clearly didn't know the law, broke it, and someone ended up dead because of it. What about the jury members? According to the officer interviewed in the art more »

There are certainly plenty of cyclists who don't follow the law either. Same as with motorists, people can't be bothered to take the extra 5-10 seconds to be safe on the roadways.

Very well said. Whether on bikes or cars we are all people here.

1. Spandex is comfortable. Please try riding 2-3 hours plus without padded shorts then come back and tell me how rediculous spandex is. 2. Spandex makes you more efficient. A big part of competitive c more »

Once again read the law. There is no "unavoidable" here, you have to wait behind the bicycle until there is enough room to pass. Just beacuase you don't like spandex doesn't mean you can ignore this. more »

You can say all you want about the roads being built for cars, doesn't change the fact the law gives bicycles an equal right to use them.

Read the law, the driver you describe is following it.

This is exactly what the law says and is exactly the procedure motor vehicles are supposed to follow when passing a bicyle. It would be nice if people actually read the law.

How the hell do you justify defending this man? He clearly violated the law, killed a man, and left the scene. End of discussion.

Cyclists are indeed allowed to ride two abreast in this state by law. So much ignorance here, please read the law before you comment.

And the majority of motorists have no clue what the traffic laws concerning bicyles are, routinely violate them, then blame the cyclists.

"Don't ride two feet from the edge when a car is trying to pass you" This is not correct. Under the law the cyclist has the same rights to the use of the traffic lane as a motor vehicle and is entitle more »

Really frustrating to read the statement from the police officers saying he felt the jury hadn't followed the law. The bicyle safety law in 2009 added some important safety rules, rules I routinely se more »

Comment on: Bill Russell, Kevin Garnett, and selfless play - Touching All the Bases - Boston.com
As well as the Celtics have been playing the seven game winning streak is being blown out of proportion. The Celtics recently had a 6 game winning streak with Rondo against at least equal and probably more »

Comment on: Celtics win sixth straight, pound Lakers 116-95 - Celtics - Boston.com
I've been a little puzzled over comments like this about Rondo not getting the ball up the floor quickly. One of the biggest strengths of his game is the transition game. Whenever there is a defensive more »

Comment on: Celtics win sixth straight, pound Lakers 116-95 - Celtics - Boston.com
Best sequence of the night and one of my favorite of the season was the Green dunking on one end, running all the way back down the floor and blocking the shot at the rim on the other end, then Pierce more »
Now that the Celtics are out, we can turn our attention to rooting full time against the Heat. I would love to see the Bulls knock them off.
