My wife told me about the closing this morning, and I was shocked and saddened. We have a beautiful, happy 18 month-old daughter, and I truly enjoyed and appreciated the prenatal classes that my wife more »

I'm with tooner on this; the Sox might be a better hitting ball club than Texas at this point. This is NOT the Texas of the recent past, but their pitching has been excellent.

I've been watching this young woman run since she was a high school junior, and she's amazing. Think it would be possible to get her name right and spell it as Shalane instead of Shane? (Probably not more »

Both catchers in the lineup on opening day? Isn't that a risky way to start the season? They'll come up with a better alternative, or perhaps one that doesn't smack of desperation to start the seaso more »

I get easily irritated when people get angry at "the media" or "the press", but when I look at the questions that were posed to Belichick - and the emphasis on his long pauses before answering - all I more »

Pete, Gordon Edes wrote that Nava is out of options. You have him with options remaining. I think that you're right, but how certain are you about Nava's options? (I'm really hoping that you're ri more »

I would guess that Saunders was willing to sign for 1 year in Seattle because of the dimensions and reputation of that park as a pitcher's park, and Fenway does not enjoy - nor deserve - that reputati more »
