    1. Should have been a hit from the start. Seems pretty clear.

    2. They'd have never done this if Ortiz hadn't gotten that hit in the ninth.

    3. Don't get why Papi filed an appeal. Who cares?

    How amazing is it that on May 13, the Sox still haven't won more than two games in a row. Yet they're one game over .500 and 1.5 out of first place. Albeit in a division just about anyone can win.

    I was elated when we signed Lackey because I always loved the way he pitched with LAA. It took a bit longer than I expected, but he's now the pitcher I thought he'd be.
