The board of directors are an arrogant bunch, aren't they?

The kids can save this team. It's only 9.5 games and no team is exactly running away with the division. So, I'm sayin' there's a chance.

I've never heard the public school thing before I brought it up, but the point there is that there are plenty of teachers and counselors taking advantage of minors and considering the massive number o more »

I don't disagree. At the heart of my point/suggestions was that the church was and is out of touch with many Catholics and has done little to connect. But, for some perspective, there are more than 3 more »

Sadly, people like to overstate or exaggerate the issue. I would guess a heavy majority of priests are honest and decent. And I did say some problems could be resolved, not all. more »

Allowing women to be priests and priests to marry (again) would solve a few problems. more »

And I know the player and the game and I still don't want him here. He's not a Celtic. He'd fit nicely with the Knicks, perhaps. more »

I know it's beating a dead horse, but I've been following Giancarlo Stanton since his name came up last year and I really think he's a franchise player the Sox should do everything to get now. Put him more »

Half your lineup is hitting near the Mendoza line and the pitching seems to be feast or famine. It's clearly not AJ's or any individual's fault. Collectively, they're not playing well as a team and th more »

There's been a whole lot of NOTHING in Buffalo since the late 90's. Enjoy your "freedom" there Brandon...

Hey, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm just not going to pat the guy on the back for waiting 25 years to do what was needed to return this storied franchise to glory.

With all due respect Section77, either you're not old enough to recall the absolute frustration of watching the Bruins organization do only enough to be competitive in the 80's and 90's, or too old to more »

Yeah, watching his hat trick? Huge mistake. He's only going to get better and the B's could've had him for years.

Unsure what the dislikes are for, but just to add the B's play a defensive-minded style of hockey and Seguin didn't necessarily fit in. In Dallas he's free-wheeling and it's great for him. I wasn't ha more »

The B's are 4th in the league in scoring and Dallas may not make the playoffs. I liked Seguin, too, but if rumors are true (drinking and partying hard during playoffs) his immaturity may have cost the more »

I'm so glad the Sox are holding firm on Stephen Drew. I like Drew and I think the infield was great last October with Drew at SS and Bogaerts at 3B, but they don't lose with Bogaerts at SS.

I love the complete lack of compassion by some of the people commenting here. If you've ever had to fly to the funeral of someone that matters, you know the 5-10% discount doesn't change how you feel, more »

It's not that far fetched to connect him to PEDs. If you look at stats, 2008 was a big turning point year in a lot of careers because your body freaks out when you come off PEDs. Injuries are very, ve more »
