Comment on: Red Sox blow 9th inning lead to Orioles - Red Sox - Boston.com
Hanrahan was clearly a bit off from when he first came in. However, Farrell was patient as he should have been. However, once Hanrahan threw that wild pitch that was 10' short of home plate, only Gra more »

Comment on: Red Sox add Drew and Wilson; Lackey to DL and Iglesias optioned - Extra Bases - Red Sox blog
I'm disappointed that they didn't give Iglaises more slack.. He's currently playing great. Let him go until he falls back and then demote him. After all, the idea is to win, not give players their e more »

Comment on: Red Sox take a pass on Brad Ausmus - Red Sox - Boston.com
I hope Farrell is better than I fear. I also would have preferred Brad, but I guess that he never had a chance.

Comment on: John Farrell's focus squarely on the Blue Jays - Extra Bases - Red Sox blog
This fascination with Ferrel seems insane. He was a fair pitching coach under Tito with a similar laid back attitude to Tito's. Now he's an unimpressive manager. Why would we want him aty all as a more »

Comment on: 'Red Sox get shut out by Rays, 1-0, in first home loss of season'
Hard to tolerate the non-baseball quibbles by a couple of windbags who each want the last word. Most of the comments in this run were all about nothing. more »

Like I said 6 weeks ago, trade for one of the National's young catchers, probably Flores but Ramos would be even better. Can't miss as Nats need lots of stuff, especially good outfield prospects and i more »

Comment on: 'A crack team, but with holes'
Washington Nationals seem to have a surplus of good young catchers. It would be a good idea to trade for either one of them ASAP. They're looking for starting pitching (inning eaters). We should be ab more »

Comment on: 'NBA looking into incident between referee and fan'
Fan seemed innocent. He didn't fire the ball back, he flipped it. Ref should be one tossed as he threw ball at fan first and more vigorously. Fan really did zip to deserve getting tossed aside from ge more »

Comment on: Red%20Sox-Yankees%20game%20updates
Again, Papelbum can only throw fastballs; fortunately the last Yankee hitter couldn't catch up with 92-94 mph fastballs. He's a disaster waiting to happen every time he comes in. more »

Last night was one of the saddest losses that I can remember. Should never have happened.
Oh, and what happened to Papelbum's other pitches besides the fast ball? more » -

Why does a veteran pitcher like Lackey panic when there is defensive screw up (his)? I thought was time to bear down, not just throw it down the middle for the next few hitters. Lackey was exellent more »
