Here's my point...Swihart is a good young catcher, maybe he's not the next Bench or Varitek, but he's something....Vasquez is damaged goods...that leaves the veteran Hanigan...The team needs 2 solid more »

did you say that before they got Robbie Ross? Wouldn't Ross be part of that crapshoot? his 2012-2013 numbers were outstanding like Machi, his 2014 numbers were terrible...they got Ross, same GM...do y more »

I actually think that if Vaz were healthy and ready, we would be better off moving Hanigan....I am confident Vaz could get just as good a performance out of Porcello and I do not want to give up on Sw more »

Sandy's career defense was a slight plus before this year; now it is -0.4 UZR/150. His -25.6 is way below his norm.
Headley's career UZR/150 is +9.1, so he dropped off a lot too.
